Funding framework
The Conservatio Statale di Musica Cesare Pollini in Padua is part of a national consortium led by the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Agostino Steffani in Castelfranco Veneto. This consortium includes several other Italian institutions, such as the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, the Accademia di Belle Arti in Verona, the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome, the University of Padua, the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and the music conservatories in Verona, Ferrara, Venice and La Spezia.

The consortium took part in a call for proposals issued by the Italian Ministry of University and Research under the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which is funded through the European Union’s NextGenerationEU initiative.

The call aims to support and promote the internationalisation of Higher Education (HE) institutions in the fields of arts, music and performing arts, by funding projects, activities, and programmes focused on communication, outreach, awareness-raising, teaching, research and artistic production, and with the ultimate goal of preserving and promoting Italian culture on an international scale.
The consortium was awarded funding, and the Conservatio Statale di Musica Cesare Pollini in Padua received a grant of approximately €250,000.
